Citric acid contributes to the more intense production of stomach acid and as a result improves digestion. Healthy lemon peel contains pectin, which helps regulate blood sugar levels.

There are many different vitamins in lemons, including vitamin C, which is best known for boosting immunity, which is also an important factor in the weight loss process. In general, lemon is an amazing fruit with which you can cleanse your body, speed up your metabolism, lose weight and protect yourself from some diseases.

The lemon diet is very simple: every morning before breakfast, drink a certain amount of lemon juice mixed with water. Tip: Rinse your mouth with fresh water immediately after drinking the lemon juice to prevent damage to the tooth enamel that can occur from the citric acid.

Day 5: juice of five lemons mixed with five glasses of fresh water.

Day 6: juice of six lemons mixed with six glasses of fresh water.

Day 7: juice of three lemons mixed with five glasses of fresh water. Add a spoonful of honey and drink the mixture throughout the day.

Day 8: juice of five lemons mixed with six glasses of fresh water.

Day 9: juice of five lemons mixed with five glasses of fresh water.

Day 10: juice of four lemons mixed with four glasses of fresh water.

Day 11: juice of three lemons mixed with three glasses of fresh water.

Day 12: juice of two lemons mixed with two glasses of fresh water.

Day 13: juice of one lemon mixed with a glass of fresh water.

Day 14: juice of three lemons mixed with ten glasses of fresh water. Add a spoonful of honey and drink the mixture throughout the day.

Note: Depending on the size of the lemons, there should be at least 2-3 tablespoons of lemon in each glass of water, no more. If lemon causes you discomfort, it is best to stop the diet or reduce the amount of lemon.

It is important to know that you should not drink the juice all at once, but spread it throughout the day. Drink as much as you can in the morning and save the rest for later. Consume 1 hour before a meal and 2 hours after a meal.

This diet is not recommended for people with gastrointestinal problems. The lemon diet is especially effective in the fall or spring when our body needs extra vitamins and detoxification.

If you combine a low calorie diet with the lemon diet, you will get even better results. Eat three to five small meals throughout the day, but really small and low-calorie ones. Do not overeat, do not eat pasta, sweets or white bread. Avoid fizzy drinks, sugary juices or alcohol. Avoid snacks, chips, sweets and the like.
